Academic Background:
BA in Economics with Complementary Education in Quantitative Methods at Federal University of Minas Gerais(2007). MA in Demography at Federal University of Minas Gerais (2010). PhD Candidate in Demography at Federal University of Minas Gerais (2013). MA Candidate in International Comparative Education at Stanford University (2012).

Teaching experience:
Served as a Substitute Professor in the Department of Demography, Federal University of Minas Gerais, between March and July 2011, and taught two courses at the undergraduate level.

Research interests:
I am currently interested on the effect of teacher's quality on educational achievement gains in Brasil (MA Paper proposal at Stanford University). Also, I have been working in demographic and statistical methods to project educational composition and average years of schooling of Brazilian population (Doctoral dissertation at Federal University of Minas Gerais).

Fields of interest:
Educational Demography, Educational Evaluation and Assessment, Quantitative Methods in Demography, Applied Bayesian Statistics, Population and Public Policy, Social Demography.
